ABOUT ME

I ran my first marathon when I was 24-years-old. In case you don't already know, that's 26.2 miles of pounding pavement. This may not seem like a huge feat for some, but for this girl who chose swimming in high school because it was the one sport that didn't involve running in any shape or form, it was.

While I was running, I thought about quitting at least 26 times, so basically every mile. But despite my shortness of breath, pounding head, aching muscles, and mental fatigue, I kept going. I'm that person. If I say I am going to do something, I do it.

I employ this determination in everything I do. As a marketing professional, I don't have to run any marathons, thank goodness, but I do have to run through a lot of data and create a lot of content.

I started what I didn't know would be a career in marketing at a small construction firm. I volunteered to manage and update the website and creating a social profile for the company. Little did I know that taking on that task would start me on the hike to getting a master's degree in Digital Content Marketing and up the marketing mountain.
